It is the inheritance and further development of tea art since the Tang and Song dynasties. Su Zhe wrote a poem: "Minzhong tea is high in the world, and I don't know what to do with it." Tasting Gongfu tea is one of the most famous customs in Chaoshan area. In Chaoshan, every family has Gongfu tea sets, and they must drink several rounds every day. Even the Chaozhou people who use Qiao to live abroad or emigrate abroad still keep the custom of tasting Gongfu tea. It can be said that where there are Chaozhou people, there is the shadow of Gongfu tea.
